About Us
Tiveka Game Lodge was started by a former Teacher and Principal, Tiveka, Stellah Mathumbu ambitious, enthusiastic and dedicated Business Woman. Tiveka is her first name meaning famous and not only is that reflected in her as a woman, but also will it be reflected in Tiveka Game Lodge.
It all started with a humble beginning, 6 rooms and 3 workers, a focus, a vision together with a big dream. The former teacher and Principal, Stellah Mathumbu started building a lodge, 32km outside Polokwane, on a plot in the Swartberg mountains. She has a dream, vision of an International lodge, but much more than the ordinal lodge, the dream includes, wildlife, “Tent Lodge” in the bush between the animals as pure as Africa.
Today the Lodge has 46 rooms, 20 Chalets, 3 conference rooms and 4 Lapas and much more
